Hands on Dental2Medical Billing
Our interactive course lets all participants have fun while learning. We teach to all
learning styles through games, computer teaching, lecture and interactivity. All
participants will understand how and why medical billing can be a profit center in
the dental practice.
For the very first time Laurie Owens will be teaching with Christine Taxin. As a
former student who has done an outstanding job working with a large Implant &
Periodontal Associates in Seattle Washington. She has contributed to the growth
of this practice with medical billing and has now started to teach courses to
spread the word. I am excited to have her with me on me teaching this course.

Knowledge of services that can be covered & the rules of billing
certain codes for compliance.

Understand the authorization process and SOAP documentation,
Utilizing health histories and risk assessments to diagnose a patient.
Documenting and submitting medical necessity information,
Understand how to prioritize procedure code & diagnostic codes
Using the medical forms
The “How To” for Transforming Dental Codes to Medical Codes

This will not be another boring lecture, we will be
hands on completing claims!
